Map address discrepancies

I work in the Web development department for the Maricopa County
superior court and we use Google Maps to direct folks to our various
facilities. We've noticed in a few instances that the markers aren't
always on target when people view a map through our site. However, if
the same address is entered directly into Maps.Google the destination
Info window doesn't contain all the text

Hi there,

I've been pulling my hair out over the following problem for some time
now, searched this group and the web in general, and can't find a
suitable working answer/solution.

I have a map, with 4 markers on it loaded from XML. I use the
createMarker function someone else wrote to assign HTML to the marker,
GOverlay and dragging

I'm inheriting from GOverlay so that I can have markers with "on
brand" info boxes and such. Example:

Now, I want to make the "You Are Here" marker (the purple circle)
draggable. Is there a relatively simple way to make a GOverlay drag

Is it possible to send a list of IP addresses to the google maps tool
and get a location marker for each of those on a world map?

It looks like people are able to do this on a single IP basis.

Question regarding Google Spreadsheets

I am trying to construct a map that contains over 17,000 lines on a
spreadsheet. Would using google spreadsheets be possible? Are the
spreadsheets capped at 100 lines? Is it possible to use many
spreadsheets in combination, or must they be used separately? I have
very little experience with google maps. Any suggestions regarding how

Hi,

I am new to Google Maps, i have however integrated many other Google
API's (Analytics, Checkout, Charts)

Is Google Maps fully Javascript Based... Is there any .Net versions of
the API?

Mexico data returned from geocoding service

I am using the geocoding service to return lat/long information for
postal codes and countries a user enters. When querying the service
for a Mexican postal code, the postal code is not part of the data
returned as it is for other countries.

Am I doing something wrong or is this information not available yet?

Modifying KML files after loading with GGeoXml - possible?

hi-

I'm new, but can't find this info anywhere. I'm writing an app that
emulates some of the functionality of MyMaps (i.e. let the user do
some editing).

I'm not using a back-side database - just kml files generated/appended
with PHP. I've found that i can't edit,delete, copy over, etc. the
branded shoes,casual wear, handbags

TOU violations: What do Google actually do about them?

I am new at this and trying to add a map to our web site. I am just
beginning and trying to even get the map to set to Indpls initially.
The long and lat is 86.16W, 39.53N but when I put that in the html
code it keeps taking me way south of indy. any ideas?

geocoding multiple results

Hey,

So I am having a problem trying to get multiple results from
geocoding. I am trying to send one parameter a city name and get all
the cities in the world by that name. For example when I send buffalo
as the only parameter the only result I get back is Buffalo, NY.

Now I believe there are about 13 other buffalo's in the US alone, I

No Luck with "Hello, World!" Code

Hi Everyone!

I've had no luck getting the "Hello, World" code to produce a map on
my site. I've generated a key, and pasted the code with the key to an
online HTML editor (i-web suite from ImmediaC, for what it's worth),
and alas, there is no map. Also, when I go to edit the HTML
afterwards, there's only one line of code that remains:

I am trying to show a map of a friends property. The location is
43.3462 3.4818.

The left side (east) is correct, but there is a joint with the west
side at this point which is wrong. Not sure where this is but anyone
can see that two map photos have been joined incorrectly.

Is there a solution to this problem?

i copy the code of Control Example : control-localsearch.html.

When i paste it in my page, the search button (on the bottom-right) is
too long and overflowed from the page..how can i change the width? i
have tried to change the "new GSize(10,20)" many times but the result
is still the same. i need help. thanks

Newbie Street View Error, please help!

Hello,

I have a application that is plotting markers correctly and have
worked in the StreetView into a tab window. My issue is that I am
getting sporadic results with the Street View. Occasionally when I
select my Street View tab I get a error: 'null or null is not an

Hi guys, when you go to maps.google.com it seems to restore the state
nicely if your refresh the page in your browser. For example, it
remembers your location, the type of map, etc.

Is there a way to get this functionality using the Maps API?
